The Crystal Gate is how your character spends its level-up stat points — an open, branching stat grid. Open it from Character → Crystal Gates.

How it works

Six stat lanes. The grid is made of six vertical lanes — Strength, Accuracy, Dexterity, Defence, Intelligence, Spirit — connected down and sideways into a mesh. Walk the path. Starting from the origin at the top, click a glowing node next to one you've already lit to activate it. You can move down a lane or step sideways into a neighbouring stat. Your route is your build. Each node grants a set stat, and you only earn 1 point per level — so you can't light everything. Where you walk decides your stats. Some nodes are richer. Most nodes grant +1, some +2, and a rare few +3. Hunting the better nodes along your route is worth it.

Traits & Paths

Your class Traits appear automatically as gold milestone markers down the left of the Gate (they're free — you don't spend points on them). At each Crossroads (the old Paths of Power choices) you'll see both options stacked, A above B, with their effects — click the one you want.

The Reset Crystal

A Reset Crystal resets your whole Gate — it refunds every stat node you've lit and clears your Path choices, letting you walk a brand-new build. Buy one from the Gate panel for 200,000 gold.

What the Gate does NOT change

Your auto-grown stats — the base stat growth you get from your race and class every level — are automatic and untouched. The Gate only governs the points you choose to spend.

Spending stat points

You earn 1 stat point per level. Points are spent in the Crystal Gates (Character → Crystal Gates) — the old + / Max buttons on the Attributes panel have been retired. Your unspent points are shown on the stat panel with a link straight to the Gate.

Traits & Paths of Power

Class Traits and the Paths of Power Crossroads are now shown and chosen inside the Crystal Gates. Traits light up automatically as milestone markers; at each Crossroads you pick between two options shown side by side. To change a Path choice, use a Reset Crystal (it also re-walks your stats).

Stat effect

Your race contributes to your stats every level, so changing race re-scales the racial portion of your stats by your character's level — a meaningful swing, not a flat tweak. The altar shows the exact projected change for each race before you commit. Cost is 2,500 gold × your highest level (minimum 50,000). Levels, gear and your Gate allocations are untouched.

Lane Quick-Fill

The right rail beside each stat lane has a number input and a Fill button. Type how many points you want to spend in that lane and click Fill — the Gate walks that many nodes in one action. Leave the box empty to fill the lane all the way until your pool runs out.

Pending Decisions

A collapsible strip sits above the gate grid, listing every outstanding decision across your entire gate — not just the rows visible on screen:

  • Crossroads — Paths you've walked through but haven't picked A or B for yet.
  • Keystones — Keystone nodes you have enough unspent points to unlock right now.

Each entry shows the tier/level and a Jump ▾ button that scrolls the grid straight to that row. Click the strip header to collapse or expand it.

Build Share codes

The Share Build link in the gate toolbar generates a short code encoding your full current build — every stat lane count, every activated Keystone, every Path choice. Copy the code and send it to another player.

To view someone else's build: open your own Crystal Gate, click Share Build, switch to the Import Build tab, and paste their code. You'll see a read-only summary of their stat spread, Keystones and Path choices. Your own gate is completely untouched.
