Support Classes

The Support Class system lets you layer a second class's passive traits onto your main class. You keep everything about your main — your abilities, spells, equipment, and stats — and gain a curated slice of another class's trait tree on top of it. Access the system under Character → Support Class.

Every character on your account shares the unlock, and each of your characters can independently choose a different Support Class. You can hold up to sixteen different Support Class choices at once — one per main class — and switch them as your builds evolve.

Unlocking the System: The Wandering Path

The Support Class system is locked behind a quest. You cannot set a Support Class until you complete it.

  1. Reach level 50 on any character.
  2. Seek out Roan the Wayfarer at the Mars Colosseum (map position 52, 8). A violet diamond marks his tile once you are eligible.
  3. Accept the quest and hunt down three legendary foes across the world, each carrying a Sigil:
Target Sigil Biome Weak to Where to find
Minotaur Sigil of Might Mountain Lightning Raygos Cauldron (Lv 100–190), Dakuban Mines (Lv 110–215), Ruins of Jukhaz (Lv 255–375), Snowfall Mountain (Lv 320–450), Border Mountains (Lv 490–650), and higher Mountain zones
Werewolf Sigil of the Hunt Forest Earth Frostbite Forest (Lv 20–65), the Sanctuary (Lv 50–150), Bloodshore Heath (Lv 400–560), Nemyia Forest (Lv 740–905), and Crystalmoor Highlands (Lv 880+)
Vampire Sigil of Shadow Wasteland Lightning Dea Siroz Wasteland (Lv 430–615), Crimson Wastes (Lv 760–930)

Once the quest is accepted, each of these enemies spawns far more frequently in their home biomes. Each sigil only drops once and is a locked quest item. Return all three sigils to Roan the Wayfarer to complete the quest and unlock the system account-wide.

Note: The Minotaur and Werewolf are reachable during normal progression. The Vampire's home — the Wasteland — is a mid-to-late game biome (Lv 430+). The Wandering Path is designed as a journey across your leveling arc, not a quest you clear in one session.

How It Works

Effective Level

Your Support Class contributes traits up to your effective support level:

Effective level = min( floor(main class level ÷ 2), your actual level in the support class )

  • Level-200 Fighter with Rogue sub leveled to 80 → effective level = min(100, 80) = 80. Rogue traits at ≤ 80 apply.
  • Level-60 Fighter with the same Rogue sub → effective level = min(30, 80) = 30. Only traits at ≤ 30 apply.
  • If you haven’t leveled the support class at all, effective level = 0 and no traits apply.

The floor(main/2) cap keeps the system self-balancing — support capstones never overshadow your main class’s highest-level abilities.

Changing Your Support Class

You may only set or change your Support Class while standing at your Safehouse. Your support choice is saved per main class, so switching mains automatically loads that main’s saved support choice.

What Transfers

  • Stat boosts: Strength, Accuracy, Dexterity, Defence, Intelligence, Spirit (percentage bonuses up to effective level)
  • Combat bonuses: Critical chance, critical damage, lifesteal, mana steal, dodge chance
  • Farming bonuses: Gold bonus, EXP bonus, drop chance
  • Utility: MP cost reduction, cooldown reduction, TP gain, arte damage, buff duration
  • Valor multipliers (Death Knight / Necromancer): Valor → STR and Valor → INT scaling carries over and stacks with your Valor pool
  • Pet traits (Tamer): Pet damage, pet crit, and feeding bond traits carry over — but are inert unless you have an active pet (i.e., your main IS Tamer)

What Does NOT Transfer

  • Abilities and spells — no class abilities, weapon artes, songs, or Signature Spells from the support class
  • Dual Wield — Rogue and Tamer both have a Dual Wield unlock trait, but it does not carry over. Only your main class determines whether you can dual-wield
  • Raw stat growth — traits only. Base stat growth comes from your main class and Class Mastery (account-wide)
  • Specialisation paths (Crystal Gates) — support traits always use the default trait path regardless of your Gate choices

Choosing Your Support Class

Trait tables below show values as they appear in-game (combat stat percentages are scaled; utility values are exact). Tables cover levels 10–100 — the range accessible to most players using the support system.

Fighter — Strength & Fortitude

A deep well of Strength, Defence, and Spirit built out evenly across every tier. Battle Fury (level 70) adds crit and Drill Discipline (level 35) feeds TP early. Best for any physical main that wants durability alongside damage output.

Rogue — Precision & Evasion

The strongest source of Dexterity, crit chance, and dodge in the support tree. Deadly Precision at level 100 gives one of the largest crit damage spikes available as a support trait. Rogue’s Dual Wield unlock does not carry over.

Magician — Intelligence & Mana Economy

The strongest INT growth available plus two MP cost reduction traits (Mana Efficiency at 35, Deep Reserves at 115). Scholar’s Mind and Ancient Lore stack EXP bonuses. Essential for any caster main wanting longer fights at lower MP cost.

Gladiator — Raw Power & Lifesteal

The most aggressive support option. Bloodlust (level 40) is one of the earliest lifesteal sources in any support tree, and Gladiator’s Fury at 90 delivers a large crit damage multiplier. Best for physical mains that want pure offensive output and self-sustain.

Pugilist — Balanced Physical

Death Knight — Lifesteal & Valor

Stacks more lifesteal than any other support tree, with traits at levels 10, 40, 80, and 130. Valor’s Edge (50) and Valor’s Dominion (100) add Valor → STR multiplier stacking for players active on the PvP ladder. Premium for physical mains that push the Echo Arena.

Necromancer — Mana Steal & Valor

The caster mirror of the Death Knight. Four mana steal traits by level 130 provide a sustained mana engine unlike anything else in the support system. Valor’s Insight (50) ties PvP rating into INT scaling. Corpse Economy (35) cuts MP costs from the start.

Minstrel — Gold, EXP & Buff Duration

The strongest choice for farming runs. Extended Set (35) gives the largest buff duration extension of any first utility trait in the tree. Gold stacks at levels 40 and 120; EXP at 80 and 170. INT and SPI grow at a consistent rate throughout. Best paired with builds that lean on active buffs during farm sessions.

Hexblade — Dark Hybrid

Mixes INT and STR in roughly equal measure, with lifesteal entering at 60 and crit damage at 70. The best support choice for physical-caster hybrid mains. Hex Rotation (75) reduces cooldowns. Stack Capacity traits (35, 155) are inert for non-Hexblade mains.

Patch 3.0 Exception — Mimic

Every class above caps its support class at half your main level. Mimic is the one exception: its cap is your main level ÷ 1.5 instead of ÷ 2 — a noticeably higher ceiling, in keeping with the class's "absorb everything" identity. A level-900 Mimic can therefore run a support class as high as level 600, versus 450 for every other class at that level.
