Evolved Races — Awakened Bloodlines
Evolved Races — the Awakened Bloodlines — are seven greater forms, one for each of Crystaria's seven races. Each carries its base race's identity forward with +1 to every racial stat. Racial stats apply per level, so an awakened bloodline is a real edge that grows with your character — without changing what your race is about.
You cannot be born Awakened. The bloodlines are unlocked by quest and entered only through the Altar of Rebirth.

Every value is its base race's +1. Racial values contribute per level — at level 1,000 an awakened bloodline is roughly +100 to every stat (post-squish) over its base form.
Unlocking: The Awakened Blood
Seek Ascendant Vessia at the Echo Wastes archive (the scholars' tile in the Echo Wastes — level 850 required) and complete her three trials in order:

The unlock is account-wide and permanent — complete the chain once and the altar knows you forever, on every character.
Awakening at the Altar
- Once unlocked, the Altar of Rebirth shows an ✧ Awakened Bloodlines section beneath the base races.
- An awakened rebirth costs double the normal rate — 5,000 gold × your account's highest character level (minimum 100,000).
- Everything else works exactly like a normal rebirth: the change is account-wide, every character's stats shift by the difference between old and new racial values scaled by that character's level, and all level-up allocations, gear, traits and Attunements are kept.
- You can return to a base race later (at the normal price) — and re-Awaken again whenever you can afford it. The unlock never expires.
- Awakenings are announced to the whole realm.
