The Colosseum is Crystaria's hourly PvP tournament. There are no level brackets — every fighter enters the same event, and the arena sorts entrants into brackets by Rating Points (RP), the same Elo model the Echo Arena uses.

Entering

• Register from Adventure → Colosseum any time before the hour strikes. Entry fee: 25,000 gold.
• Your stats are snapshotted at registration (buffs included) — late power-ups don't follow you in.
• Withdraw before the tournament runs for a full refund.
• Each hourly bracket holds up to 64 fighters; at least 4 must stand in total or everyone is refunded.

Crystal Bands

Your RP places you in one of seven bands. Each band fights its own bracket, and each band's champion takes that band's purse:

Rating Points

• Every bracket fight moves RP (Elo, K=32). Upsets pay big; farming weaker foes pays almost nothing — the winner always gains at least 1.
• Your first entry each season is placed by level — seeded RP = 1,000 + (level ÷ 3), capped at 2,000 (Diamond). Crystal Sovereign can only be earned.
• Seasons reset quarterly. A fresh ladder each season; champions carry a ♕ crown per band title on the season ladder.

How the Hour Resolves

• Entrants are grouped by their current band. Each band with enough fighters runs a single-elimination bracket (largest power of two that fits, floor 4 — fighters beyond the bracket are placed in reserve and refunded).
• Thin bands merge: neighbouring bands short of 4 fighters are combined into one bracket that keeps the highest band's name and purse — you fight stronger company, you contest the bigger prize.
• The champion's gold is deposited immediately, the victory is announced in world chat, and every participant's post-bracket RP and band arrive by notification.
