Playing on Steam

Crystaria Online on Steam is the same realm as the browser and mobile versions — one world, one set of accounts, the same characters. The Steam client adds one-click sign-in, Steam achievements and Rich Presence on top.

New to Crystaria?

Press ◆ Sign in with Steam on the title screen. Steam confirms who you are, then you choose your adventurer name, race and gender — no registration, no email, no password to remember. From then on the same button always brings you straight back to your adventurer.

Already have a Crystaria account? Link it

If you played in the browser before installing the Steam version, link your existing account once and keep everything — characters, levels, gear, guild.

• 1. Launch Crystaria Online through Steam.
• 2. On the title screen, log in the normal way — your username and password in the Login panel. Do not press the Steam button yet.
• 3. Once you're in the game, open the ◆ Game menu and choose ◆ Link Steam, then confirm.
• 4. Done. You'll see “Steam account linked” — from now on, Sign in with Steam logs you straight into this account.

What linking gives you

• One-click sign-in — the Steam button takes you straight into the game, no password needed.
• Steam achievements — achievements you earn in the realm unlock on Steam automatically, including ones you earned before linking.
• Rich Presence — your Steam friends see what you're up to: your level, class and where in the realm you are.

Good to know

• One Steam account links to one Crystaria account.
• Linking changes nothing about browser or mobile play — your username and password keep working everywhere.
• Accounts created through the Steam button sign in through Steam — they have no password of their own.
• Your progress lives on the server, not in the client — play on Steam at home and in the browser elsewhere, it's always the same character.

Steam Leaderboards

Three realm-wide boards run on Steam: Highest Level, Arena Rating and Labyrinth Depth. The realm updates them every night, and they count your deeds wherever you play — link your account once and your standing rises whether you fought that day on Steam, in the browser, or on your phone. The full set of boards — five podiums and a per-class board — lives in-game in the Hall of Legends.
