For too long, the same weapon fell from a dozen different bosses — one generic blade was the “reward” for seven separate dungeons. No longer. Every dungeon now guards a bespoke, matched 2-piece signature set: a boss weapon from the fight and an ultimate piece from clearing it fully, each named to the dungeon, each dropping nowhere else in the realm.
A handful of the newest Unique weapons — and both raid sets (Starforged and Worldcrown) plus the Pinnacle Masterworks — had been seeded far above the intended gear curve, some carrying six to ten times the stats their level should allow. A live guardrail was already reining them in during combat, so nothing was truly broken, but the numbers read as nonsense and quietly handed out roughly double the intended power.
They’re now brought onto the same honest curve every other item follows. A Unique is still the best in its slot — but its edge comes from its rarity bonus and its set bonuses, layered on top of a base that finally makes sense, not from raw numbers that never belonged. Every item kept its identity — which stats it favours — only the magnitude came back to earth. Nobody’s gear was in circulation yet, so no one loses a thing.
