✦ Hotfix 3.5.2 — First Lessons

3.5.1 gave new adventurers a fair fight — a gentler early game and faster levelling. This hotfix completes the welcome: a meadow of their own outside KiRoni Village, a shepherd with work that needs doing, a realm that explains itself through nearly thirty one-time tutorial tips, and a quest ledger that finally starts at the beginning.
🌿 The KiRoni Commons
A Meadow for the New New

The plain outside KiRoni Village has a proper name now — the KiRoni Commons, the village common where the sheep graze and the newcomers swing. It is the realm’s nursery ground: only the gentle locals spawn there — Rats, Young Sheep, Giant Rats and Slimes — and every one of them is tuned as a true beginner’s foe. Nothing on the Commons outpunches a fresh adventurer; it is the one stretch of Crystaria where the training wheels are the terrain.

Shepherd Willa’s Troubles New

Shepherd Willa stands on the Commons south-west of the village (61,86), and her knees are older than the village. Her four-quest chain is the realm’s first story:

  • Rats in the Grain — the granary has visitors. Thin them out.
  • The Flock Gone Feral — the spring lambs got into old Bettan’s fermenting barrel. They look fluffy. They are not fluffy today.
  • Big One in the Burrow — the little rats you culled had parents.
  • Something in the Well — finish what’s oozing down there and take the title “Rat-Catcher”.

Rewards are sized for the road ahead — each quest is roughly an early level’s worth of EXP, and the gold funds first potions and a first real weapon.

The Realm Teaches Itself
One-Time Tutorial Tips New

Forty tutorial tips now light up the first time you meet each system — your first fight, your first level-up, the forge, the Tower, the Colosseum. Each is a small animated crystal card: a few plain words on how the thing works, sometimes a moving diagram, then it marks itself seen and never returns.

  • Spotlights — when a tip talks about a piece of your screen, a pulsing gold ring lifts it out of the dark: the welcome tour rings your character panel, the map and the chat dock in turn, so you always know exactly what’s being described.
  • The attribute tour — on first login, a guided walk through your six attributes, the ring gliding from Strength to Spirit as each is explained — what it powers, who lives by it, and where the numbers come from.
  • Your first hour — welcome tour, combat (TP, the hotbar, why you can’t flee monsters), stat points, quests, the price of dying, and your class’s resource meter.
  • The economy — shops (and their 15% buy-back), the auction house, mail attachments (opening is not claiming!), bag tools, equipment rules, and why gold belongs in the safehouse bank.
  • The systems — crafting, the forge mini-game (with animated bars), gathering, dungeons, raids, parties, guilds and essences.
  • The adventurer’s toolbox — the hotbar, weapon skills, titles, objectives, the Bestiary, your Rivals, the Waystone network, Spell Fusion & the Codex, and the Altar of Rebirth.
  • The endgame — the Tower, Rift, Echo Arena, Faction Table, Colosseum, Gambling Den, Attunements, Support Class and Mastery, each introduced the day you find it.
Seen Once, Remembered Forever New
  • Account-wide memory — seen is seen, across every character. Guests get the full set, and claiming your account keeps what you’ve learned.
  • Never in the way — Esc, a click outside, or Got it dismisses instantly; a tip never blocks an action, and only one ever shows at a time.
  • Yours to commandGame → Accessibility holds a Gameplay Tips switch and a Replay all tutorials button. Reduce Motion strips their animations too.
📖 A Ledger for Beginners
Beginner Quests Lead the Quest Directory Quality of Life

The wiki’s quest directory now opens with a Beginner Quests chapter — Shepherd Willa’s four-quest starter chain in KiRoni Commons (find her at 61,86) listed first, before the class trials and story chains. The ledger regenerates straight from the game’s own quest table, so it stays true as the realm grows.
