The biggest content drop since Resonance. Two brand-new ways to play — a roguelite descent and emergent rival monsters — plus the deepest the elemental combat system has ever gone, and a second hotbar for your full kit.
Elemental Combat
Spell Fusion New

The elemental trilogy is complete: Resonance (know the weakness) → Reactions (improvised combos) → Fusion (intentional ones). A caster can now fuse two different-element spells into a single unique spell:

  • Steam (Fire + Water), Magma (Fire + Earth), Plasma (Fire + Lightning), Eclipse (Light + Dark) and more — all 21 element pairs work.
  • A fusion takes the better of its two elements' matchups, and Plasma & Eclipse ignore resistance entirely — a fusion is the answer to a foe that resists your magic.
  • Build one in the Hotbar (a new fusion slot) for the cost of both spells' MP, and chase the full set in the new Fusion Codex.
Reactions Become Team Combos New

In raids and dungeons, Elemental Reactions now fire off your teammates' afflictions on the shared enemy. A Warlock's Chill sets up a Fighter's Fire for a Vaporize — group fights finally combo like a team. (Solo play is unchanged.)

Two New Ways to Play
Crystal Rift — a Roguelite Descent New Mode

Plunge into the Rift with your real character and push as deep as you dare:

  • HP carries between floors — no free healing. Death ends the run.
  • Clear a floor and draft 1 of 3 boons — Glass Cannon, Crimson Pact, Executioner, Bulwark… — stacking into a wild one-run build.
  • Bank every 5 floors to cash out safely; push past it and risk it all. A depth leaderboard tracks who's gone deepest.
  • No gear or XP is ever lost — the Rift costs only unbanked progress.

Find it under Adventure → Crystal Rift.

Nemesis Mobs — Personal Rivals New Mode

When a normal monster lands the killing blow on you, it doesn't just despawn — it earns a name, a grudge, and a few levels, and becomes your Nemesis.

  • It waits on the tile where it felled you. Return to find a crimson Avenge! encounter and a revenge reward for putting it down.
  • Fall to it again and it grows stronger and counts your defeats — "that goblin that's killed me three times" is now a real story.
  • Track your rivals under Adventure → Rivals. Up to three can hunt you at once.
Quality of Life
A Second Hotbar New

Ten slots were never enough for a full kit. Hotbar II doubles your bar:

  • Keys 1–0 fire Bar I; Shift+1–0 fire Bar II.
  • A [ I · II ] toggle on the combat bar swaps which is shown for clicking, and the Hotbar editor configures both.
