Ascend Your Gear
Gear Ascension — +0 to +10 New

Your favourite weapon or armour no longer plateaus. Ascend any equippable item from +0 up to +10, raising its attribute bonuses by +5% per level — +50% at the cap. Open an item's detail card (the ? button on a bag row) to find its Ascension panel.

  • Salvage what you don't need. Break down spare drops into Ascension Dust — finally, a use for the flood of duplicate boss loot.
  • Levels +1 to +6 cost gold and Dust. Levels +7 to +10 also demand Ascendant Sigils (earned in the Endless Tower — see below).
  • Higher tiers can fail — the gold and Dust are spent, but the item is never destroyed, and Sigils are only consumed on a success.

Because so much of your combat power scales off your attributes, an ascended piece is felt immediately. Lock the gear you're proud of and pour your duplicates into it.

Class Mastery, Reforged
Every Class You Level Now Strengthens Your Main New

Class Mastery is no longer a single bonus at level 200 — it's a tiered, account-wide system that rewards levelling any class. You earn a new Mastery tier on a class at levels 50, 100, 200, 350, 500, 750 and 1,000, and each class grants two things that grow with its tier:

  • A primary stat bonus — a percentage boost to that class's signature stat.
  • A signature utility (unlocked at level 200) — Rogue gives Gold Find, Gladiator gives Crit, Death Knight gives Lifesteal, Tamer gives EXP, and so on for all fourteen classes.

Every bonus applies no matter which class you're currently playing, so levelling an alt directly strengthens your main — and it's fully retroactive: your high classes are already contributing the moment you log in. Track it all on the new Mastery Codex (Character ▾ → Mastery): every class, its level, tier progress, and what's next.

Walk a Second Road — Support Classes
Layer a Second Class onto Your Main New

Inspired by the classics: choose a Support Class and carry its class traits alongside your main's. Its effective level is the lower of half your main level and your actual level in that class — so a level-500 main can run a support as high as level 250, but only if you've levelled that class yourself. Set or change it at a Safehouse (Character ▾ → Support Class); the panel previews exactly which traits you'd gain. This is the strongest reason yet to take an alternate class into the field.

The Wandering Path — A New Quest New

Support Classes are earned, not given. At level 50, seek out Roan the Wayfarer — a wandering master who stands at Mars Colloseum (look for his violet marker on the map).

  • Accept his trial, then slay three iconic foes — the Minotaur, the Werewolf, and the Vampire. Each drops a unique Sigil (a locked quest item, safe from being sold or destroyed).
  • Bring all three Sigils back to Roan to unlock Support Classes account-wide — every character you own gains the ability for good.
The Tower's Seasons
Weekly Seasons Now Pay Ascendant Sigils Content

Each weekly window in the Endless Tower is now a season. When it rolls over, the season's top climbers are mailed Ascendant Sigils based on their final rank and the floor they reached — the higher you place and the deeper you climb, the more you earn.

Ascendant Sigils are the currency that unlocks the top tiers of Gear Ascension (+7 through +10). The Tower and your equipment now feed each other: climb for Sigils, spend them to perfect your finest gear. Your Sigil balance is shown right on the Tower panel.

A Wiki, Written by You
The Manual Is Now a Community Wiki New

The Game Manual has grown into a full community Wiki. It's readable by anyone, searchable, and organised by category, and — because you're already signed into Crystaria — you can edit it, no second login required.

  • Every page keeps a full revision history; anyone can revert vandalism, and there's a Recent Changes feed to keep an eye on edits.
  • Found a gap or a stale number? Fix it. The whole old manual has been migrated in, so there's a foundation to build on from day one.

Find it at the Game Wiki link (or type /wiki in chat). Help us make it the best guide a browser RPG has ever had.

Balance & Changes
Songs Are Now Minstrel-Only Change

Songs are the Minstrel's signature, and they should feel that way. The five Songs are now exclusive to Minstrels, who already learn them all as class abilities. The redundant Song scrolls have been removed from shops — and anyone who had bought one has been refunded its full gold value. Minstrels lose nothing; their Songs work exactly as before.
